Watch: Dem Strategist Sees a 'Not a Snowball's Chance in Hell' of Any GOP Candidate Beating Hillary
In this clip, Democratic Strategist Jim Manley tells a reporter that he “couldn’t be happier” that Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have joined the presidential race. He foresees another long and arduous primary that will devolve into a contest of who can be pushed further to the right and prove that they are the most conservative, transforming the eventual victor of the feeding frenzy so ideologically tainted that there is “not a snowball’s chance in hell” of defeating Hillary Clinton.
Which is exactly what happened last time around. The pressure to out-Republican their foes and make their voices heard among the torrent of idealistic nationalism and Bible-thumping propaganda will polarize them to the point that they will be untenable to anyone living outside of the Midwest. We can only hope his predictions come true.
