It just goes to show how ominous the prospect of a Trump win really is. What began as an amusing sideshow has become a deeply divisive and bigoted campaign of hate which freely espouses the trappings of fascism. His refusal to condemn white terrorist groups like the Ku Klux Klan, his proposals to kill the First Amendment and censor the media, to deport 11 million immigrants and ban Muslims from entering the country are all very frightening prospects for those Americans sophisticated enough to recognize that minorities are not the cause of all our nation’s problems, and they’re sending a message that they don’t want to be a part of it.
