President Obama Rips Trump, Says He’s “Unqualified” To Be President
President Obama ripped into the presumptive Republican nominee today for his utter lack of qualifications for leadership or a record of success in his business ventures. Speaking with W-MUR in New Hampshire, the leader of our nation shared his thoughts on the Republican front-runner:
“He is not somebody who, even within the Republican Party, can be considered as equipped to deal with the problems of this office. But look, we live in a democracy. If in fact the Republicans nominate Mr. Trump, then it’s going to be an interesting fall season. I’m confident that ultimately the Democrat in that circumstance will win.”
Donald Trump is historically awful favorability ratings – nearly 65% of the country despise the man, while seven in ten women can’t see themselves voting for him and a staggering 80% of Latinos can’t either. He will be the most unpopular presidential candidate in history should the GOP decide to not commit suicide and broker the convention, which is very unlikely but hey – we all laughed at Trump when he first announced his candidacy, and now he’s about to be crowned nominee.
It goes without saying that Trump, who isn’t particularly good at anything except drawing his name on things like a narcissistic toddler, is historically unqualified to be President of the United States. Whoever the Democratic nominee is, it is very likely that they will win the presidency in a legendary landslide. But that shouldn’t downplay the threat that Trump poses to our nation – creeping fascism is here to stay.
