Trump & Former Mexican President Engage In Twitter War Over Mexico Visit (TWEETS)

Donald Trump’s surprise trip to Mexico is clearly a desperate attempt to distract the public’s attention from his incessant gaffes and lend his campaign some kind of legitimacy by meeting with the leader of another nation. But he just couldn’t help himself from engaging in a Twitter feud with former Mexican president Vicente Fox, who took to Twitter to mock Trump for his planned trip.

which reads: “Mexico doesn’t want Trump! Mexico will never trust him. We won’t allow him to use our country for his own gain.”

Translation: “There’s no turning back. Trump, your insults towards Mexicans, Muslims, and others have put you in the hole you’re in today. Goodbye, Trump!”

Donald Trump, of course, couldn’t let that go, and sent out a response in an attempt to flip the narrative around and revised history, telling his followers that Fox had apologized for the time that he told Trump that Mexico was not in fact going to pay for his f*cking wall and called Trump a “crazy man.”

Fox indeed had apologized in an exclusive interview with fascist hate rag Breibart, saying that “forgiveness is one of the greatest qualities that human beings have, is the quality of a compassionate leader. You have to be humble. You have to be compassionate. You have to love thy neighbor” – symbolic words obviously supposed to be taken to heart by Trump, who promptly ignored the man’s sage advice.

But Fox insisted on making it clear what he had actually said: “I invite him to come to Mexico and to see what Mexico is all about” – not to fly to Mexico for a photo-op and a private meeting with President Nieto.

Seeing as Trump has yet to respond, it’s clear someone at his campaign headquarters has taken his phone away. We applaud Fox for calling out Trump on what he’s clearly doing – making a last-ditch attempt to play at being a politician before the debates seal his fate once and for all.
