Watch: Comedy Show Hilariously Skewers The Donald In “Forrest Trump” Sketch
A British sketch comedy show, Newzoids, has released a hilarious clip resoundingly mocking Donald Trump by portraying him as Forrest Gump, the mentally disabled titular character portrayed by Tom Hanks in the 1994 classic film – but this time, he’s not quite as sympathetic a character.
“Life is like a box of chocolates” begins Forrest Trump. “There’s too many black and brown ones and not enough white ones!” he says as the narrator explains that this is “the story of a man everyone thought was a racist simpleton…who showed the world they were absolutely right” intones the voice over before a claymation Donald Trump embarks on his journey to win the White House – to hilarious effect.
Poking fun at Trump’s proposed wall, his love for “Brexit,” and all-around ignorance and racism, the sketch perfectly channels Donald Trump’s crass arrogance in a very amusing fashion. Definitely worth a watch!
