Trump’s Bill Clinton Rape Lies Just Fell Apart As Accuser’s Sworn Affidavit Surfaces

Republican nominee Donald Trump’s only defense against the devastating tapes which show him admitting to sexual assault is to try to deflect attention back on to the Clintons by raising the specter of former President Bill Clinton’s sexual assault allegations, implying that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is somehow culpable by standing by her husband.

A common conspiracy theory circulated among right-wing social media circles accuses Bill Clinton of raping a woman, Juanita Broaddrick. The facts, however, don’t add up.

In a sworn affidavit filed in 1998, Juanita Broaddrick denied an “unsubstantiated, hearsay claim” that Bill Clinton had invited her (Jane Doe #5) to a hotel room and forced her to have sex:

3. I met President Clinton more than twenty years ago through family friends. Our introduction was not arranged or facilitated, in any way, by the Arkansas State Police. I have never been an Arkansas state employee or a federal employee. I have never discussed with Mr. Clinton the possibility of state or federal employment nor has he offered me any such position. I have had no further relations with him for the past (15) years.

4. During the 1992 Presidential campaign there were unfounded rumors and stories circulated that Mr. Clinton had made unwelcome sexual advances toward me in the late seventies. Newspaper and tabloid reporters hounded me and my family, seeking corroboration of these tales. I repeatedly denied the allegations and requested that my family’s privacy be respected. These allegations are untrue and I had hoped that they would no longer haunt me, or cause further disruption to my family.

Broaddrick was interviewed by the right-wing hate rag Breitbart recently in which she told a very different story – but she either lied under oath or is now changing her story to collect a check from the Trump camp. While Bill Clinton was certainly no saint, he’s not running for President.

Donald Trump is running for the presidency and has been caught on tape admitting to sexually harrasing women, describing behavior that corroborates the story of Jill Harth, who detailed how Trump molested and assaulted her while she attempted to arrange a business deal with him. His refusal to apologize for his behavior and his underhanded attempts to drag the Clinton family into the muck with him is downright reprehensible, and it’s hard to see how the women of our nation could possibly vote for a man who is an admitted sexual predator.
