Trump Can’t Find Inauguration Performers. Alec Baldwin Just Made Him A Hilarious Offer
Alec Baldwin is on the front lines of the resistance against President-elect Donald Trump by brilliantly satirizing him on Saturday Night Live, to the president-elect’s irritation. The famed Hollywood actor has launched his latest barb at Trump in the form of a tweet mocking him for his inability to secure any popular musical acts to perform at his inauguration.
Trump’s notoriously thin skin does not allow him the ability to accept criticism in any form. He lashed out on Twitter like a child when confronted with the fact that the far majority of performers in the world want nothing to do with him or his accession as the soon to be 45th President of the United States.
The so-called “A” list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2016
The comment from Trump is akin to playground antics where a child who was not picked for a team loudly shouts they didn’t want to play anyway to save face. One imagines Trump didn’t have very many friends as a child and he said earlier this year in March, “I have no friends.” There is, however, one A-list celebrity who is willing to perform for Trump and his name is Alec Baldwin who made Trump an offer on Twitter:
I wanna perform at Trump’s inauguration.
I wanna sing HIGHWAY TO HELLhttps://t.co/fCTArIajFb— ABFoundation (@ABFalecbaldwin) December 23, 2016
Such an offer has comedic value, but it is also all too true as well. Trump has recently stated his intention to ramp up a nuclear arms race and through his inept leadership he very likely will lead us to directly to the gates of Hell.
