Jimmy Kimmel Just Proved That Republicans’ Attacks On Obamacare Are Bullsh*t
In this hilarious skit, late-night comedy host Jimmy Kimmel goes undercover on the street to find out whether people like the Affordable Care Act more than Obamacare.
Yes, Obamacare is just another name for the Affordable Care Act, but thanks to a relentless smear campaign by the Republican Party, most Americans somehow still don’t know that. Kimmel had previously gone to the streets three years ago to gauge the public’s opinion on Obamacare – and unfortunately not much has changed.
One woman said that since she “doesn’t support Obama so I don’t support the Obama-things he’s got going on” but she “absolutely” supports the Affordable Care Act.
This is unfortunately a common theme among Republicans, who are unable or unwilling to acknowledge the idea that the landmark health insurance law that has been providing them with affordable healthcare was instituted by the man they despise so deeply.
The mind truly boggles.
