Tyrant Trump Fires Attorney General For Not Going Along With His Muslim Ban
Our “president” Donald Trump is behaving increasingly like a dictator rather than the elected representative of the people of the United States and defender of the Constitution. In retaliation for acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ rightful refusal to enforce Trump’s appalling Muslim ban and immigration ban, the would-be king has fired her and replaced her with someone willing to do his dirty work.
In a bizarre and rambling press release clearly dictated by the President himself, the White House declared that Yates had “betrayed” the Department of Justice, that she is “very weak,” and that Yates will be replaced by Dana Boente, Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. He has held that position since 2013.
For the record, Sally Yates is the complete opposite of “weak” when it comes to prosecuting actual terrorism. She successfully prosecuted the Atlanta Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph, who committed a string of anti-abortion and anti-gay bombings across the South during the late 1990s. He was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences.
Donald Trump has demonstrated once and for all that he values loyalty to him and his own perverse agenda over the rule of law in our nation. It is important to note that Boente was not the next in line for Attorney succession, which would have been Zach Fardon of Northern Illinois, indicating that Trump called around until he found one who was willing to violate their oaths and carry out his orders.
The DNC immediately blasted the move. “Donald Trump can try to silence heroic patriots like Sally Yates who dare to speak truth to power about his illegal anti-Muslim ban that emboldens terrorists around the globe. But he cannot silence the growing voices of an American people now wide awake to his tyrannical presidency,”
The AG should pledge fidelity to the law & the Constitution not the WhiteHouse. The fact that this admin doesnt understand that is chilling.

Sally Yates is a woman of ironclad principle and devotion to the laws of the United States; showing great courage in the face of the tiny-fisted tyrant. But it would appear that the entire cowardly Republican body politick is willing to tear up the Constitution they accused President Obama of violating every time he picked up a pen.
The appointment of Trump’s first Attorney General choice, notorious racist Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has been blocked up until now; it is vital for the future of our Republic that you pick up your phone and call your Senators and tell them that we cannot allow a man like Sessions to rubber-stamp everything that Steve Bannon tells Trump to sign.
