Trump Fans Just Held A Pathetic Rally And Twitter Is Humiliating Them

As tens of thousands continue to gather around the world almost every day to protest Donald Trump’s presidency and his bigoted executive actions, a pro-Trump rally in Portland, ME is drawing attention online for its minuscule turnout. According to footage from local CBS station WGME, there appeared to be exactly eight people at the rally, which was held on Saturday and meant to show support for the president’s illegal Muslim immigration ban. The pathetic turnout was particularly amusing in comparison to the many anti-Trump rallies that have consistently brought thousands to the streets of Portland in recent weeks.

The few Trump supporters who did attend, however, weren’t going to let the microscopic size of their rally prevent them from preaching their narrative, alternative facts and all. “I’m just kind of letting you know there’s another side to the story,” attendee and 1/8 of the rally Doug Prevost told WGME. “I’m letting people know [Trump] has an awful lot of backers behind him.” Not in Portland, apparently. And, of course, Twitter users were relentless in mocking the pitiful rally and the alternative facts of its participants:
