Our so-called President Donald Trump decided to use his office to scold a multinational corporation for refusing to do business with his daughter, Ivanka. As he always does, Trump took to Twitter to berate Nordstrom for dropping his daughter Ivanka’s brand of luxury jewelry, clothing, and shoes from their stock due to poor sales.
Note the timing of this tweet – 10:51 AM.
Journalists on Twitter have obtained copies of Trump’s daily schedule, and found that Trump was tweeting about Nordstrom while he was supposed to be paying attention to his daily intelligence briefing, as noted by the fact-checker at the Washington Post:
Of note: The official White House schedule suggests Trump was getting his daily intel briefing while he sent this tweet. https://t.co/Ws6ZCe1OS2

While Donald Trump was supposed to be receiving his daily intelligence briefing and discussing, say, the fact that the country of Yemen has now banned the United States from counterterrorism operations in their country because Trump’s first raid killed thirty innocent people, including ten children, Trump was busy attacking a company for dropping his daughter’s products.
Trump couldn’t even be bothered to be in the Situation Room during that raid, instead going off to tweet about how the New York Times was failing for their poor coverage of him.
The Huffington Post last night revealed Trump still is not fond of his briefings and is resistant to outside knowledge, believing that he already has all the answers: “ There is the matter of Trump’s briefing materials, for example. The commander in chief doesn’t like to read long memos, a White House aide who asked to remain unnamed told The Huffington Post. So preferably they must be no more than a single page. They must have bullet points but not more than nine per page.”
Donald Trump’s continual refusal to take his job seriously is not only a disgrace to his office but puts our national security in danger. He is unqualified and unfit to govern this nation – and he seems insistent on reminding us of this with every passing day.
