Anthony Bourdain Just Trolled Trump Over Fake Sweden Terror Attack

World-famous food critic, chef, and television personality Anthony Bourdain took to Twitter today to mock Republican President Donald Trump over his latest “alternative fact.”

On Saturday, before heading off to his mansion at Mar-a-Lago for his third golf excursion in three weeks, Trump held a self-appreciation rally in Melbourne, Florida, where he implied that a refugee-perpetrated terror attack had occurred in the Nordic nation of Sweden.

There was no attack; Trump had misunderstood a FOX News report that alleged that Swedish authorities were conspiring to hide heightened levels of refugee violence from the population, which is also false.

Bourdain, fed up with Trump’s constant misrepresentation of the truth, fired off a Tweet in response:

Trump’s dislike for his intelligence briefings is well-documented at this point. In December, when it was revealed he only attended one briefing a week, Trump said he “didn’t need to” because he was “like a smart person.

But it’s clear at this point that facts and reality don’t hold much weight for Trump, who would rather simply tell outrageous lies and have them be immediately taken at face value by his sycophantic and gullible fans.
