Keith Olbermann Just Predicted Three Very Dire Ends For The Trump Regime

After watching the debacle that resulted from Trump’s disastrous attempt to repeal Obamacare, sportscaster-turned- political pundit Keith Olbermann has seen enough to know where this is heading. In a video posted to the GQ website this evening, Olbermann predicts three potential outcomes for Trump and his regime (video below). Spoiler alert, none of them end well for The Donald.

In a video posted to the GQ website this evening, Olbermann predicts three potential outcomes for Trump and his regime (video below). Spoiler alert: none of them end well for The Donald.

The first scenario will no doubt come as news to Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who continues to insist that the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russian agents is a non-issue despite all evidence to the contrary. “Russia,” Olbermann declared, “could end Trump’s presidency in a day.” He included several additional timelines, but the case for a conclusion that involves Russian espionage is beginning to feel as likely as in a Cold War era Bond movie.

“The second outcome,” he says, is impeachment, adding that it  “might result from Russia or might exist entirely independent of it.” This conclusion he draws directly from “Trump’s Obamacare disaster,” noting how quickly Republicans turned on their President when he needed them.

Whether it’s Russia or some other issues, Olbermann believes that Republicans will revolt and try to oust Trump the moment his “political toxicity” becomes too big a liability for their own political futures. (The support Olbermann brings to this insurgent prediction is especially thorough and impassioned.)

“Of course, there is one other way all this ends,” the commentator continued, his voice growing grim as he spoke over images of Russian protestors being dragged away by state police. “Scoff if you want that we could ever see this in this country,” he warned, “but 18 of the states of our union are now working to expand the criminalization of protests.” After citing Trump’s paranoia about “paid protesters, and thugs, and law and order,” Olbermann made no explicit prediction.

He didn’t have to. The police state scenario has been clearly painted by Trump and his role model, Vladimir Putin. Rather than describe the consequence, Olbermann left us with a one-word path to avoiding this nightmare future.

“Resist.”
