Trump Just Gave A Disturbing Defense Of Bill O’Reilly’s Sexual Harrassment

In a new interview with the New York Times, serial sexual predator Donald Trump openly defended fellow sexual predator Bill O’Reilly just days after declaring April to be “Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.”

It was recently revealed that FOX News has paid out a staggering $13 million since 2002 to silence the five women who have accused O’Reilly, the host of FOX News’ most popular show, of sexual assault and harassment.

Trump, who himself has been accused of sexual harassment, assault, attempted rape, and rape by at least fourteen women, said that he believed O’Reilly was innocent and that he “shouldn’t have settled,” even though it was the FOX News corporation which did the settling.

“I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person. I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled. Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”

Trump has just confirmed what we already knew: that he views women as sexual objects to be used and discarded by men at their leisure. Trump has just publicly condoned Bill O’Reilly’s attempts to offering promotions and job opportunities to women in exchange for sexual favors – and then ending the careers of the women involved when they rejected him.

His remarks are a disgusting show of misogyny and rape apology, excusing the well-documented culture of sexual harassment that at least a dozen women report thrives at the conservative network of “family values.” He has demonstrated unequivocally that he will side with other rich white men over the concerns of American women, and that is an unacceptable position for the President of the United States to take.

FOX News has just extended the contract of Bill O’Reilly even though the network was well aware of his heinous behavior. Elevated to high positions despite widespread knowledge of their sexual crimes against women, Donald Trump and Bill O’Reilly are rape culture manifest.
