Morning Joe Just Asked Maxine Waters If She Respects Trump. Her Answer Is Perfect
This morning, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was asked on MSNBC’s Morning Joe whether or not she respects President Trump as the ostensible leader of the free world – and her response really says it all:
“I don’t honor him. I don’t respect this president. I don’t think that he deserves to be president of this great country. I am very concerned about him and I really think he’s dangerous. This is abnormal what we’re experiencing with this president.
The lawmaker has been a vocal opponent of our treasonous commander-in-chief, calling for his impeachment last week during the April 15th Tax March. Joining thousands of angry citizens demanding that the President reveal his tax returns and show us what he’s been hiding all this time, Waters spoke with power and fury:
“Show the people your taxes. Stop stonewalling, stop hiding. I will fight every day until he is impeached.”
While in general one should respect the Commander-in-Chief even if you don’t agree with his politics, in this case we can all agree that since President Trump refuses to show any respect for his office, for the Constitution he swore a sacred oath to uphold, and for the American people he represents, he doesn’t deserve our respect either.
