Ivanka Trump Just Got Booed On Stage At A Women’s Panel
Public patience with Ivanka Trump is quickly evaporating. She has proven to be as deceptive and deceitful as her father ever since President Donald Trump took office.
First, she promised she wouldn’t have anything to do with government. Then she went ahead and became one of daddy’s closest advisers and got herself an office in the West Wing. She’s also promised to remove herself from the family business empire, which, surprise surprise, was a lie.
Across the pond in Germany, people have had enough of her blatant duplicity. During a women’s panel, Ivanka was talking on the subject of paid leave policy in the U.S. She tried to tell everybody that her father was a “tremendous champion of supporting families.” Big mistake.
Naturally, the audience booed and hissed, their disdain clearly audible on the video below.
The panel’s host, in reaction to the boos, asked Ivanka directly about her father’s attitude to women, to which she replied that her goal in Trump’s administration was “incremental positive change.”
So no change at all then, right Ivanka?
What’s funnier is the reactions of the two women sitting to her left. The white-haired woman is Christine Lagarde, a French lawyer, politician and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. The other woman is Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany and widely accepted to be the most powerful woman in the world.
Their eye-rolling and impatience with Ivanka’s comments are almost better than the audience’s reaction and reveal exactly what they think of Ivanka and her despicable father.
Both of these women got ahead by determination, intelligence, and hard work. Ivanka got ahead because she’s her father’s daughter. Enough said.
