A Picture Just Leaked Exposing Steve Bannon’s Terrifying Plans For America
Last night it emerged that Steve Bannon has a planning board, and better yet, we can read some of what’s on it.
Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, a Jewish author who was visiting the White House, had his picture taken with President Donald Trump’s chief strategist. Behind the two men is a whiteboard with various policy ideas and plans neatly written out.

Written down are a lot of ideas on immigration policy. Two ideas worth highlighting are “new extreme vetting” and “build the border wall and eventually make Mexico…” Policies that Bannon has ticked indicate they have been addressed by the President.
However other policies haven’t been ticked, and some of them are pretty extreme. One says “finally complete the biometric entry-exit visa tracker” while another proposes “sunset visa so that Congress is forced to revisit and revise”.
Here is a list of the readable parts of the board, some of the ideas weren’t legible in their entirety.
Pledges on Obamacare

– Create a 10% repatriation tax
– Lower the corporate tax to 15%
– Eliminate the estate tax
– Eliminate the carried interest loophole
Pledges on Immigration
– Cancel all federal funding to sanctuary cities
– Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions
– Implement new extreme immigration vetting tech…
– Suspend the Syrian Refugee Program
– Create support for victims of illegal immigration
– Expand and revitalize the popular 287(g) program
– Issue detainers for all illegal immigrants who are…for any crime, and they will be placed in removal proceedings
– End “Catch-And-Release”
– Hire 5,000 more Border Patrol agents
– Restore the Secure Communities Program
– Triple the number of ICE agents
– Build the border wall and eventually make Mexico….
– Sunset our visa laws so that Congress is forced to revise and revisit them

There are some pretty despicable policies on that white board, policies that could only have emanated from the Trump administration. It’s unsurprising that Bannon wants to lower corporation and income tax, he did work at Goldman Sachs after all so he is naturally inclined to favor the rich and powerful. Bannon also seemingly wants to end the Syrian refugee program completely, end funding for santuary cities and hire thousands of additional border guards and ICE agents.
Let’s also address the irony of a rabbi getting his picture taken and thanking Bannon for being a friend of Israel. Bannon is a known anti-semite who played a key part in facilatating the recent rise in anti-semitism while he was editor for rightwing “news” organization Breitbart.
These Tweets will be an embarrasment for Bannon, who no doubt didn’t want his plans leaked to the world. They also give us a hint as to where some of Trump’s more right wing ideas come from, although in fairness we already knew Bannon was behind most of them.
Thanks to this heads up, Democrats and the Resistance can start planning their opposition to these policies ahead of time.
