This Republican Believes Women Get Abortions For A Free Vacation
America is pretty unhappy with the GOP right now. Not only are they intent on supporting a dangerous and stupid President, they also signed a health care bill yesterday that will see thousands die needlessly.
Now, they’ve decided to jump head first into the gutter.
Alaska state Representative David Eastman has made outrageous comments about the reason why women get abortions.
In an interview with a local news channel, Eastman said:
“We have folks who try to get pregnant in this state so that they can get a free trip to the city, and we have folks who want to carry their baby past the point of being able to have an abortion in this state so that they can have a free trip to Seattle.”
You read that right. In the world of David Eastman, women want to get abortions so that they can travel into the city, supposedly for a shopping trip, or maybe a meal.
Not only is this a heinous lie, but it also begs the question: has Eastman ever spoken to a pregnant woman, or better yet, a woman at all?
If he did know any women in his life, Eastman would realize pretty quickly that deciding whether to terminate your pregnancy or not is definitely not worth a trip to the mall.
What an idiot.
This isn’t the first awful thing this scumbag has done. He was recently the only person to vote against a resolution that honored black soldiers who helped build the Alaska highway during World War Two and another resolution that would have honored Hmong and Lao veterans who fought on the U.S. side during the Vietnam war.
This guy is a nasty piece of work. He needs to go crawl back into the sewer he emerged from.
