FBI Just Identified A Current Top Trump Official As A Person Of Interest In Russia Investigation

President Trump may have just left the country, but he won’t be able to leave his troubles behind.

The Washington Post has just revealed that the investigation into Trump and his campaign team’s potentially treasonous collusion with agents of the Russian Federation to tilt the November 2016 election in Trump’s favor has identified “a senior White House adviser as a significant person of interest…someone close to the President.”

This unknown official joins disgraced National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, former campaign advisor Carter Page, and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort as the primary persons of interest in the Russia probe.

Former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III was appointed as special prosecutor of the Trump-Russia investigation on Wednesday, and it appears that he’s producing results before he even gets his team properly set up.

This means that despite all of Trump’s protests to the contrary, the taint of guilt and treason extends all the way up to the highest levels of the government.

We can only hope that Mueller and his team are given the resources and the access they need to finally unearth the truth – and deal out sufficiently severe punishments to those who conspired with our enemies for their own political gain.
