Ivanka Trump Just Wished America A Joyful Pride And It Immediately Backfired
Senior White House Advisor Ivanka Trump seems to be in good spirits after she failed to convince the President to keep the United States in the Paris Agreement, taking to Twitter to wish everyone a “joyful” Pride Month 2017.
I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy.

Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017. This month we celebrate and honor the #LGBTQ community.
— Ivanka Trump (@IvankaTrump) June 2, 2017
The empty gesture means absolutely nothing, considering that her father has refused to acknowledge Pride Month at all and has made no indication he will hold the White House’s traditional LGBT appreciation events, has rescinded protections for transgender students, and chose a notorious homophobe who advocates for harmful gay conversion therapy as his vice-president.
The response from social media speaks volumes:

You tweeted the wrong thing. I think you meant to say this: pic.twitter.com/2kSyGexOll

Oh, honey, you "care" about #Pride2017 like you "care" about #ParisAccord. Your kind of caring kills people. Stop the hollow damage control. pic.twitter.com/pwTxTEZWo0

She'll tweet about rainbow color Popsicles as her daddy rolls backs civil liberties & rights of LGBTQ. She's as fake as her daddy's tan.

You don't get to honor the LGBTQ community when the VP supports gay conversion therapy and your dad supports bathroom bills

I'd thank you for your tweet but I'm kind of busy getting deprogrammed in conversion therapy.

Fast forward to next week when Trump rolls back basic human rights against the LGBTQ community and Ivanka is all ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Delete your account you hypocrite, history will not look back on you kindly

Until Ivanka puts her big talk about support for women and the LGBT community into action, the internet is going to keep dragging her for her hypocrisy.
