Joe Biden Just Gave A Fiery Speech Slamming Trump’s Bigotry
Former Vice-President Joe Biden gave an electrifying speech tonight at a gala honoring him for his LGBT advocacy work, calling out not just President Trump but every other world leader who still persecutes their LGBT citizens for their appalling bigotry.
“World leaders who are still homophobic are reluctant to be so vocal about it because things are beginning to change!” he roared. “There is no justification in any circumstances to deal with people in an inhumane way! None none none!”
Biden: There is "no justification" for inhumane treatment of LGBTQ community in other nations. "None, none, none." https://t.co/0PDmK5LEbv

“We should hold President Trump accountable for his pledge to be your friend. So many of us walking around with our heads down… Damn it! It’s time to stand up!”
I’m sick of people walking around with their heads down. I’m sick of people saying woe is me. Get up! Get up, America! And start to act like who we are! The next century will be the AMERICAN CENTURY!”
he finished, to a standing ovation.
Rumors have been flying for months about a possible Joe Biden 2020 presidential run – and from the fiery tone he struck during this speech, it’s looking like that’s more and more likely by the day.
The contrast Biden draws with notorious bigot Mike Pence couldn’t be more clear. The energy and the passion with which Biden speaks is truly inspiring, and his guidance for our nation is dearly missed.
