Fired FOX News Host Eric Bolling’s Son Was Just Found Dead

In a tragic development, 19-year-old Eric Chase Bolling, Jr, son of prominent conservative news personality Eric Bolling, was found dead last night or early this morning.  Details of his passing are unclear, and the cause of death is unconfirmed at this time, although one report stated he had committed suicide.

The senior Bolling was suspended from FOX News in early August after a Huffington Post report alleged that he’d sent lewd texts to female co-workers and guests on shows.  Parent company 21st Century Fox launched an internal investigation soon after, and yesterday announced their decision to part ways with Bolling.

The 19-year-old Eric Jr. was Bolling’s only child.  There’s been an outpouring of support on social media for the embattled conservative personality from friends and competitors alike.  Even his former employer FOX News issued a heart-felt statement:

“We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling’s son. Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family.”

This is a developing story.
