REVEALED: Russians Are Traveling To Trump’s Properties To Have ‘Anchor Babies’

With all his “America first” sloganeering and anti-immigration rhetoric, Donald Trump has been revealed to be ironically profiting from a wave of “birth tourism” now popular with wealthy Russian oligarchs.

After spending his campaign railing against anchor babies and jobs lost to illegal immigrants, Trump nonetheless finds himself as a major component in the marketing of companies that provide birth tourism services to foreigners who come to America to ensure that their newborns are granted American citizenship by virtue of their delivery on US soil.

An article in the Daily Beast details several companies that offer accommodations at Trump-branded properties in Florida like Trump Towers, Trump Royal, and the Trump International Beach Resort to expectant parents while they wait for labor to begin.

Companies with names like SVM-MED, Miami-Boom, and Status-Med offer packages that can cost over $75,000 for stays in luxury condos. One example cited in the article:

“SVM-MED, a Miami birth-tourism company that also boasts outposts in Moscow and Kiev, offers three tiers of packages to its clients, with the top two advertising lodging in Trump Towers. The most expensive package costs $84,700 for a Trump Tower II apartment with a gold-tiled bathtub and chauffeured Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes Benz.”

In addition to providing swanky digs to the Russian birth tourists, these companies also provide referrals to local doctors and hospitals, offer prenatal care and activities for the moms-to-be, and advise the parents on the details of obtaining US passports for their new-borns.

While Trump argued during the campaign that citizenship should not be awarded to the American born offspring of illegal immigrants, the 14th amendment to the Constitution guarantees that anyone born in the US is automatically a citizen.

Upper-class and even middle-class foreign citizens, particularly from Russia and Chinas, flock to the US to get American passports for their children for many reasons. For some, it is a political insurance policy, for others, it is a way to ensure easier acceptance and financial aid from US universities for their children. Whatever the reason, when their child turns 21, they can apply to get green cards for the rest of their family as part of the “family unification” program.

The fact that Trump is making money hand over fist due to the very policies that he vowed to fight may or may not rankle the president, but the Russian birth-tourists are not very concerned that they will lose the option to secure the future of their children anytime soon.

“When Trump was elected, he said he wanted to eliminate citizenship based on place of birth,” birth tourist Tanya Yanygina told The Daily Beast. “But he said that in reference to people from the Middle East and Mexico.”

Even the Russians know that Trump’s rhetoric stems from racism.
