Michelle And Pres. Obama Just Made An Inspiring Announcement On Twitter
President Obama just made a major announcement about the launch of his charitable organization, the Obama Foundation.
This fall, the beloved couple is set to hold the Obama Foundation Summit, inviting hundreds of leaders from around the world for a “hands-on exchange of ideas” before sending them back home, empowered and inspired, to begin working to organize and develop their own communities.

This is only the latest in the Obama family’s charitable ventures. During the unveiling of plans for his presidential library a few months ago, Obama announced that he and his wife Michelle will be personally donating $2 million to summer jobs programs in Chicago so “young people can get to work.”
From his days a community organizer in Chicago to the Presidency of the United States, Barack Obama has shown an undeniable drive and talent for bringing people together and finding creative solutions to the many problems facing our communities.
We can’t wait to see what inspiring projects and initiatives the Obamas have planned for the American people and the world at large.
