Watch: Joe Biden Destroys a Republican Climate Change Denier
When asked about Republican Senator James Inhofe’s ridiculous use of a snowball to deny climate change on the floor of Congress, Vice President Joe Biden had to stop himself from laughing, declaring that, “It’s close to mindless. It’s almost like denying gravity! You know, the willing suspension of disbelief can only be sustained so long!” Then, he gave several real life examples of the dire consequences climate change denial is already wreaking on America and the planet.
Zing! VP Biden couldn’t be more right. Republicans are not only risking our future with their climate change denial, they are also denying basic science, reminiscent of Newton’s struggle to prove that science was real in the face of “mindless” opposition.
