Watch: Sean Penn Calls Out Bush and Cheney for Creating ISIS

After Conan O’Brien made a joke about former vice president Dick Cheney, actor Sean Penn made sure to bring Cheney back into the discussion during his segment, rightfully calling him an “embittered bacteria of humanity” and giving him and Pres. Bush a “shout out” for having created ISIS with their epic blunder in Iraq:

“You mentioned Dick Cheney, this kind of, you know, embittered bacteria of humanity. It’s always a surprise to me to remember that, through bionic technology and so on, this guy’s still here… These are the guys, he and President [George W.] Bush and some others, who invented Daesh, or ISIS. I mean, they really are that which created it, and so I wanted to give him a shout-out. Thanks for that.”

Kudos to Penn for using his fame and legitimacy for a good cause, and for having the courage to speak up and tell the truth.
