In this clip from Realtime, Bill Maher discusses Hillary Clinton and her strong leftward shift towards the policies of populist progressives like Elizabeth Warren. He praises her embrace of controversial issues like calling for a constiutional amendment to rein in campaign finance, a direct path to citizenship for immigrants, an end to the mass incarceration that falls heavily on our minority communities.
These are issues that still have yet to be fully dealt with and it is a very reassuring sign to see the strongest Democratic candidate take a firm stance on productively resolving them, especially as the Republican side looks for ways to make them even worse.
