Watch Obama Call Out Hypocrite Cruz: Your Dad Fled A Country That Spies On Citizens!
In this clip, President Obama calls out religious extremist Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) for his “un-American” calls to repress and monitor America’s Muslims in response to the tragic bombings that were perpetrated by suspected Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) militants in Brussels, Belgium. “I just left a country that engages in that kind of neighborhood surveillance, which, by the way, the father of Sen. Cruz escaped, for America, the land of the free! The notion that we would start down that slippery slope makes absolutely no sense. It’s contrary to who we are. And it’s not going to help us defeat ISIL.”
He’s absolutely right. It is unbelievable how quickly it took a so-called “Constitutionalist” to begin calling for the violation of the Constitution with the targeted repression of Muslim-Americans, the vast majority of whom are productive and loyal citizens of this nation. His hypocrisy is indefensible and simply proves that Cruz is a self-serving liar willing to sacrifice our nation’s values in order to pander to the fearful and the ignorant.
