In this video, protesters crash through a police blockade and rush into the Hyatt Hotel, where the California Republican Convention is underway. Hundreds have descended upon the town of Burlingame, CA, to protest Trump and the rest of the Republican presidential candidates as they speak to a crowd of Californian conservatives.
The protesters originally chained themselves together and blocked both sides of the street leading to the hotel, forcing Trump to jump over a wall in a hilarious role reversal. He complained that he “felt like he was at the border.” It is unlikely, unfortunately, that he will learn anything from that experience. He’s been intensifying his anti-immigrant rhetoric over the past few days in a disgusting fashion, most unbecoming of a presidential candidate. The people of California, however, are showing that his hate isn’t welcome in their state.
