White supremacists and neo-Nazis around the world rejoiced to see Donald Trump’s last competitor bow out of the ring this morning. Unopposed, Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee. Which makes him the presumptive candidate heavily endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan and the champion of white supremacy in the United States.
Former Grand Dragon David Duke took to his radio program today to crow about Trump’s victory over the “Jewish extremists” who were arranging his defeat. We can assume that he is referring to Sen. Ted Cruz, whose fetishistic pandering to the state of Israel and Binyamin Netanyahu reached extremely uncomfortable levels; indications from other white supremacy websites also point to his close connection to Goldman Sachs (referred to as “Cruzman Sachs” by other white supremacist websites).
“Even though Trump is not explicitly talking about European-Americans, he is implicitly talking about the interests of European-Americans. Jewish extremists would only succeed in exposing their alien, anti-American, anti-American-majority position to all the Republicans and they’re going to push people more into awareness that the neocons are the problem, that these Jewish supremacists who control our country are the real problem and the reason why America is not great.”
The truly disturbing part of his speech is that…he’s not entirely wrong. Of course the idea that there is some grand “Jewish” conspiracy to commit genocide against the white race is horrendously offensive and delusional to the point of nonsense, but the neocons are the problem. The corrupting influence of Wall Street and their paid-for politicians, the money they’ve sunk into the political establishment, is the problem.
Which still doesn’t explain how the idea that a billionaire, born into privilege and an oligarch himself is somehow qualified to free the American people from the frustrations they are unable to articulate but are focused towards the corruption of Citizens United. Trump is naught but a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
