BREAKING: Shooting In Michigan Courthouse Leaves 3 Dead, Including 2 Bailiffs

Around 2:30 p.m. shots were fired in the Berrien County Courthouse, in south-western Michigan. The news first broke when an employee tweeted a call for help.

An anonymous employee has reported to the Detroit Free Press that three people are dead, purportedly two bailiffs and the shooter. One other individual is reported to be injured.

There has been an unconfirmed report that the shooter was being escorted from the courtroom when he grabbed a deputy’s gun and started shooting.

We mourn the lives that were taken by this act of violence, and our thoughts are with those affected and their loved ones.
