Republican nominee Donald Trump’s disdain for the American worker is legendary at this point. He’s been caught refusing to pay people for doing their jobs, told them that they don’t deserve a minimum wage, and offers benefit plans that actually won’t help working families, and scammed thousands of Americans out of their hard-earned money with his fraudulent “university.”
He doubled down on insulting the American working class in a truly insulting fashion earlier today when speaking about how too many Americans are working two jobs just to make ends meet, but told the crowd that “me, I’m working harder also, so I don’t feel sorry for any of you. It’s true. You think this is easy?”
Mr. Trump has never truly done a day of “work” in his life. After graduating from his high-priced university, he was given a “small loan” of a million dollars from his father, with which he began his real estate career, reaping a fortune off the blood, sweat, and tears of underpaid illegal migrants, who he has hired to build his hotels, staff his hotels, and work the runway for his modelling company.
He has no idea what the American worker, whose wages have been stagnant for decades, must do to put food on the table and care for their families – and for him to say he’s not sorry for them, when it’s predatory con-men like Trump who have been making their lives harder, is absolutely despicable.
