The Huffington Post has acquired transcripts of some of the unaired comments made by Republican nominee Donald Trump while he was host of the reality television show the Apprentice. They continue to show the sexist real estate mogul and admitted sexual predator making more offensive comments about women and obsessing over minute features of their appearance.
Taken from a 2010 episode entitled “Beauty and Brains,” the contestants were told to “make over” a country music star. One team was managing singer Emily West, while the other managed a male singer.
Guess which one Trump had issues with?
“I assume you’re gonna leave this off, don’t put this shit on the show, you know. But her skin, her skin sucks, okay? I mean her skin, she needs some serious fuckin’ dermatology” says Trump. “Fuck. That’s Emily, that’s what I’m hearing about? Let me see the other one. I assume you’re not putting this on the show. ‘Cause I don’t wanna destroy the kid’s career…[after seeing other contestant Luke Bryan] Personally, I am, as you probably heard, not a gay man, but I think he’s better looking that [sic] Emily okay.”
Contestant Cyndi Lauper explained that in fact the “dry skin” Trump was complaining about was stage makeup, but Trump couldn’t let it go. He later brought it back to her skin, asking guest judge Trace Adkins what he thought of the brochures the contestants had created: “well I um, I, I think the one they did for Emily is a little more polished looking” said Adkins.
“You’re obviously not a ‘skin man'” [pounded the table] “Which is okay…I wish I wasn’t” leered Trump.
It’s just more evidence that Donald Trump is incapable of seeing women as anything other than sexual objects to be used and discarded at his pleasure.
