A Trump Victim Just Called Out Melania For Doing What Trump Accuses Hillary Of

During last night’s interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Melania Trump proceeded to discredit all the women accusing her husband of sexual assault and reiterating her belief that the Republican nominee is innocent of the seventeen or so accusations of sexual misconduct/harassment/assault that have been leveled at him. In doing so, she began to do exactly what her husband has been attacking Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for doing after her husband’s infidelities became a national scandal – a fact not lost on Trump accuser Jessica Leeds.

“I believe my husband. I believe my husband” said Melania Trump last night, before attempting to explain away the hot mic recordings that show her husband gloating about sexually assaulting women and cheating on his wife by saying that recorder Billy Bush “egged her husband on” into “boy talk.”

“This was all organized from the opposition. And with the details … did they ever check the background of these women? They don’t have any facts…I said to my husband that, you know, the language was inappropriate. It’s not acceptable. And I was surprised, because that is not the man that I know.”

Melania would then go on to downplay the seriousness of the allegations against her husband, saying “No, that’s not sexual assault. He didn’t say he did it.”

In fact, Trump did say he did it, and “grabbing women by the [genitals]” is definitely sexual assault, under the laws laid down by the Department of Justice.

Jessica Leeds, who was assaulted by Trump while they sat next to each other on an airplane three decades ago, said she “felt” for Melania. “The wives are in a difficult position if they want to save their marriage. They’ll make compromises and accept the good with the bad. I feel it’s terrible Melania is being viewed as sympathetic when Donald is beating up on Hillary for doing the same with Bill.”

She reiterated that she had approached the New York Times with her story long before the hot mic audio surfaced, and admitted she was surprised when they published her story since “it was 35 years ago and there was no way of fact checking.”

Jessica Leeds, now 74, was seated next to Donald Trump on a first-class flight to New York. They had never met before, but about 45 minutes after take-off, Donald Trump “lifted the armrest and began to touch her.” Trump began fondling her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt. “He was like an octopus…His hands were everywhere. It was an assault” said Leeds.

Trump surrogate and senile dingbat Rudy Giuliani ripped Hillary Clinton for standing with Bill after the Lewinsky scandal, which we should remember was entirely consensual, unlike all of Trump’s accusations. “After being married to Bill Clinton for 20 years, if you didn’t know the moment Monica Lewinsky said that Bill Clinton violated her that she was telling the truth, then you’re too stupid to be president” complained Giuliani a few months ago.

Melania Trump has been thrust into the spotlight and is truly another victim of Donald Trump’s predatory womanizing. But for her to join in the smear parade against Hillary Clinton in order to defend her husband’s sexual assaults is a painful hypocrisy that just goes to show how women across America are complicit in the perpetuation of rape culture and ensuring that rapists like Trump get away with their heinous crimes.
