This Anti-Trump Plea To Electoral College Just Came Out On All Major Papers
As one of the potentially most decisive dates in American history approaches, one concerned citizen shelled out for a whole-page ad in the Washington Post and other newspapers around the country begging the voters of the Electoral College to fulfill their sacred duty and protect our nation from Trump when they meet to vote on Monday, December 19th.
POLITICO reports that “the ads, which appeared Wednesday morning in the Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Austin American-Statesman, Salt Lake City Tribune and Tampa Bay Times, are also slated to appear in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Wisconsin State Journal on Thursday.”
The campaign has been organized by social worker Daniel Brezenoff, who also has a five-million signature Change.org petition underway and used a GoFundMe account to raise almost a quarter million dollars to pay for the ads. While he would prefer the College support Clinton, he also would be content to have anybody but Trump – as I’m sure we all would.
