Justice Dept. Just Launched Investigation Into Comey For Helping Trump Win
Justice Department Inspector-General Michael Horowitz has announced that they are opening an investigation into the actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the election in regards to Director Comey’s partisan interference in the election and the abuse of bureau power to tilt the election in favor of Donald Trump.
POLITICO reports that Horowitz is bowing to “requests from numerous Chairmen and Ranking Members of Congressional oversight committees, various organizations, and members of the public.”
Comey notoriously threw a wrench into the election by writing a letter to “update” Congress on the Hillary Clinton email investigation when the FBI discovered emails that “might have” been pertinent to their previous concluded inquiries. That decision fed desperately needed ammunition the Russian and Republican agitation propaganda/fake news machine and played a large role in swaying public opinion against Clinton a week before the election.
On the other hand, a report from CNBC confirms that FBI Director James Comey had in fact concluded that the government of the Russian Federation was interfering with the election with their hacking of DNC and Clinton campaign email accounts, but fought to keep that information from being released to the public because it was “too close to the election.”
Comey and his bureau’s interference in the election helped deliver us the illegitimate president-elect we have today, in collusion with agents of the Russian Federation who are blackmailing Trump. This investigation has been long coming, and hopefully it will deliver us the vindication we’ve been waiting for.
