Trump Just Lied To The CIA About Inauguration Crowd Size. The DNC’s Response Is Perfect
The dangerous delusions of President Trump came rolling out of his pathologically lying mouth in regards to the size of the crowd at the presidential inauguration when he visited the CIA’s headquarters. Trump’s babble did not go unnoticed by members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), who took some much-deserved pleasure in chiding him.
A DNC senior adviser named Zac Petkanas said:
“After he finished ranting about crowd sizes on the National Mall, I hope President Trump sat down for an interview with the CIA to help with their investigation into his team’s possible collusion with the Kremlin to win the election. Next, he can sit down with the FBI who have sought warrants to monitor his team for the same reason.”
The comment by Petkanas was in regards to a long-standing investigation into Trump’s own complicity in working with the Russian government to steal in presidential election. It is no longer a matter of debate if Russia was involved or not, as the information has been corroborated by the Director of National Intelligence, which oversees all other intelligence agencies inside the United States.
Rather than talk about those pressing matters, Trump took his time at the CIA to babble about the size of crowd at his inauguration by asserting the crowd size was 5 to 7 times larger than it actually was. Trump said:
Honestly it looked like a million and half people, whatever it was it was. But it went all the way back to the Washington Monument … and by mistake I get this network and it showed an empty field, and it said we drew 250,000 people. Now that’s not bad, but it’s a lie.
Trump has a long history of asserting information which is not true to be a fact, and his supporters cheer him for creating an entirely different reality for them in which to live. For those of us who live in the real world we recognize Trump as nothing but a bumbling, stumbling, narcissistic conman and his unwillingness to accept the actual size of the crowd is just another example of his exacerbated condition.
It must surely burn Trump’s biscuits and make his toupee sizzle atop his orange skull to know that former President Obama’s inauguration crowd was leaps and bounds larger than his own regardless of what fiction Trump attempts to spin. See for yourself:
