Alec Baldwin Just Made An SNL Announcement That Will Terrify Trump
One of President Trump’s sources of endless frustration and humiliating mockery is coming back to haunt him once again. 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, who has been making headlines and triggering angry Trump tweetstorms with his spot-on impression of Trump, is set to not just return to reprise his role as Trump, but also to host the entire show next weekend. Baldwin has been a notable critic of Trump’s and was a staunch Clinton supporter during the election.
It will be Baldwin’s 17th time hosting the long-running sketch comedy/live music show from the President’s home city of New York.
Here’s what Trump had to say about SNL in the past:
I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?

Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Donald Trump’s hypersensitive ego and his fondness for lashing out in a petulant ragestorm against criticisms real or imagined is now an issue we must all permanently deal with as President – and it’s more important as ever that we keep watching, keep laughing, and keep poking fun at POTUS. This is not normal behavior; it is inherently unpresidential and it’s up to us to show him the same level of disrespect that he personally held for President Obama.
In case you missed it, here’s the last time Baldwin was on SNL:
