Pete Souza was the White House’s chief photographer for the whole of President Obama’s time in office. Souza is famous for producing some really great photos of Obama and his family, capturing the former president’s passion and zeal, but also his caring, fun-loving side. Souza is also active on Instagram and has decided that Throwback Thursday can also be Tease Trump Thursday.

Last month when President Donald Trump had his disastrous phone call with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, during which Trump insisted Mexico would pay for the wall and threatened that he would send US troops to deal with border incursions, Souza posted this photo of Obama and Nieto getting along and enjoying a drink.

When Trump had another catastrophic phone call, this time with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball, Souza shared this image of Obama and Turnball along with New Zealand’s Prime Minister John Key all getting along very well. Notice a pattern here?

After Trump signed his abhorrent executive order banning immigrants and refugees from seven predominantly Muslim countries, Souza posted this image of Obama sharing a touching moment with a Syrian refugee.

Souza doesn’t have his sights set solely on Trump but also likes to take a swing at the Republicans as well. After Trump announced Neil Gorsuch as his Supreme Court nominee Souza posted a picture of Obama and Merrick Garland, his pick for the Supreme Court who was blocked by congressional Republicans.

He also posted this picture after revelations surfaced that Trump’s aides couldn’t figure out how to turn on the White House lights and had to work in the dark.

Finally, Souza posted this picture of Obama with three female advisers, a subtle reference to the many photos of Trump in the Oval Office with his all-male cohort.

Souza has also taken to Twitter to troll Trump, tweeting and re-Tweeting articles that criticize the shameful president. He also compared the presidency to Netflix’s series house of Cards.

The differences between Obama and Trump are stark and saddening. Obama and his family had a great sense of decorum and always remained classy. Trump, his family and his sycophants are the polar opposite, and Souza has the perfect platform to prove it, while also trolling Trump in an ingenious way. Check out his Instagram for more hilarious and poignant posts.
