Trump Just Insulted Mark Cuban. Cuban’s Response Is Perfect
Billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban has routinely insulted and critiqued Donald Trump on Twitter since his presidential campaign began.
Today, seemingly unprompted, Trump lashed out at Cuban in his daily rage-fueled Twitter outburst, calling Cuban stupid and claiming that Cuban desperately reached out to Trump, who of course rejected the advances.
I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!

Twitter users swiftly took to criticizing Trump for focusing his attention on a Twitter critic instead of focusing on the real issues at stake in the world, like the most recent North Korean missile test. However, Cuban had an even better response:

I don’t know. But isn’t it better for all of us that he is tweeting rather than trying to govern ? https://t.co/953MuEdfeu

Cuban makes an excellent point. Trump critics are most irate when the president is spontaneously enacting dubiously legal and openly discriminatory policies, so perhaps it is better when he spends his time on Twitter instead of attempting to run the country. His Twitter rants and petty feuds with celebrities may make us the laughing stock of the world, but at least they won’t get us all killed.
Here are a few of the critical tweets other Twitter users have been sending to Trump:
Wtf @realDonaldTrump? This is seriously the type of thing you’re talking about? Not the fact that North Korea just tested another missile?

Is there anything more deserving of your attention @realDonaldTrump? You didn’t tweet about a radical xian shooting up a mosque, but this…

OK @realDonaldTrump, you’ll tweet about a feud with Mark Cuban but won’t address reports on the partly confirmed Russian dossier? Seriously?
— David G. McAfee (@DavidGMcAfee) February 12, 2017
I feel sorry for anyone who’s distracted by petty feuds surrounding @realDonaldTrump. There are much bigger issues here, like ethics issues.

@realDonaldTrump Not smart enough? Dude you have like an 18 word vocabulary.

.@realDonaldTrump You’re so smart you had to ask about our deal with Russia while you were on the phone with Russia.
