The former first couple, Barack and Michelle Obama, have been taking an extended romantic vacation since Barack left the White House on January 20. Today they each tweeted a Valentine’s Day message and we can see that they are more in love than ever before.
Barack tweeted this adorable throwback photo of the two of them in the Oval Office,

Michelle responded with her own tweet wishing Barack a happy Valentine’s Day, this time with a photo of them lounging on the beach together in their post-presidency vacation:

Barack and Michelle’s love, along with their elegance and class, lit up the White House for eight years. They plan on staying in Washington D.C. until their daughter Sasha finishes high school in 2019. After Sasha’s graduation, the couple will likely move back to Chicago where the Obama Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering citizens, is located on the South Side.
We wish the Obama’s all the best. Barack may be retired as president, but we know that both him and his wife will not stop working to empower everyday Americans and bringing the change that we all need.
