The Department of Justice under Trump-appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions just demanded that all 46 remaining US attorneys appointed during the Obama administration tender their resignations.

While the US attorneys are usually replaced at the beginning of a new administration, the timing is somewhat questionable.
Trump is sure to replace them all with extremely conservative prosecutors who do everything they can to roll back the tide of progress in America.
