Congresswoman Jackie Speier, member of the House Intelligence Committe, just dropped an absolute bomb in an interview with MSNBC today regarding collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia:
“This is as big, if not bigger, than Watergate.”
As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, Speier has access to evidence that the public hasn’t seen, and apparently it’s as bad – if not worse – than suspected for the Trump administration:
“There is circumstantial evidence of an entire web that Putin put in place ensnaring many of the people who now have very respected positions within the U.S. cabinet.”
With regard to the consequences if this investigation confirms collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Congresswoman Speier said it best:
“[The consequences] are probably grounds for impeachment.”
Jeff Sessions is already known to have lied under oath after failing to disclose that he met with Russian officials as a Trump campaign surrogate. Michael Flynn, although never a cabinet member, already resigned after misleading Vice President Pence about his own contact with a Russian diplomat.
As the nation braces for hearings beginning this week, be prepared for news of yet more cabinet members’ implications in the Russian scandal to be revealed. Rest assured, Russia’s unprecedented and nefarious activities – meddling in an American election – will be duly exposed and there will be consequences for everyone involved, including Trump.
