House Intelligence Chair Just Made A Startling Revelation About Trump Wiretaps
In a stunning turn of events, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) just revealed that an unknown source has given him “dozens” of reports that contain “significant information” on President Trump and his team’s communications with foreign agents.
“I have seen intelligence reports that clearly show that the president-elect and his team were, I guess, at least monitored. It looks to me like it was all legally collected, but it was essentially a lot of information on the president-elect and his transition team and what they were doing” said Nunes.
This information was acquired legally under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act as part of a separate inquiry not related to the Russia probe. “I’m actually alarmed by it” said Nunes during today’s press conference.
It is also an admission that more members of the Trump team – not just Gen. Michael Flynn – were under FBI surveillance.
But most importantly, Nunes just announced he was going to be briefing the White House on the information collected by the FBI – sharing the evidence with the subject of the investigation in the first place. It’s a breathtaking admission that Nunes plans to interfere with the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation.
To receive a court-ordered FISA surveillance warrant, there must be probable cause that the target of a FISA wiretap is an agent of a foreign government.

Just so this is entirely clear, this “incidental” communications surveillance has absolutely nothing to do with President Trump’s outrageous wiretap accusations against President Obama – though Russian state media is already working overtime to spin it that way:

Rep. Nunes may also have just leaked classified info to the press in an effort to muddy the waters and throw a wrench into the FBI’s investigation of President Trump and his team’s connections to foreign agents, changing his tune in the middle of his press conference multiple times:
The ranking member of the House Intelligence Committtee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) just revealed that Nunes had not briefed him before going to the press.
It’s clear at this point the Rep, Nunes is taking orders directly from the White House in an effort to sabotage the FBI’s investigation into Trump and his team. He must recuse himself from the House investigation and we need to appoint a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of this once and for all.
