The American people scored a huge victory yesterday when the Trump regime bungled its attempt to repeal Obamacare.
For stand-up comedians, the debacle wasn’t just a gift. It was a dream come true. As he so often does, Bill Maher rose to the occasion, beautifully calling out Republican futility and ineptitude.
Finding the perfect analogy for the conservative Freedom Caucus, Maher offered, “It’s like if you wrote a highway bill that made all the bridge fall down. And they said, ‘Yeah, but that only kills drivers. What about the people at home?”
The audience erupted. Maher at his best is tough to beat. Unlike Trumpcare.
