Trump Just Declared April Sexual Assault Awareness Month, And It Blew Up In His Face

In yet another act that shows the White House has absolutely no sense of irony, President “Grab Them By The P*ssy” Trump and Mike “I Won’t Eat Alone With A Woman In Case I Can’t Control My Raging Trouser Demons” Pence have just declared April to be “National Sexual Assault Awareness And Prevention Month.”

Trump, of course, is a serial sexual predator who has been accused by fourteen different women of sexual harassment, assault, attempted rape, and rape. He infamously boasted of his fondness for sexually assaulting women by grabbing their genitals without consent because “when you’re famous, they’ll let you do anything.”

During the campaign, when these accusations came to light, Trump responded by gaslighting the nation and smearing the women as liars, before telling them that they weren’t attractive enough for him to molest and vowed to sue them for speaking out.

Social media networks exploded in fury and mockery at the outrageous hypocrisy of the Trump administration.

Israel’s Haaretz newspaper didn’t beat around the Billy Bush with their featured image on the story – a still from the infamous Access Hollywood tape where Trump made his “grab them by the p*ssy” remarks.

The rest of the internet quickly piled on. Some shared their concerns for Trump’s many victims, some were blown away by the sheer irony of the move, and others were just plain snarky.

It should be noted that Trump is still being sued by one of his sexual harassment victims, former Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos. This April, we should all reflect on the appalling prevalence of sexual assault in the United States – someone is assaulted every 98 seconds, according to RAINN – and do some deep soul searching as to how we elected an admitted sexual predator to our nation’s highest office.
