Ivanka Trump, who was elected to exactly nothing in the U.S. government, has inserted herself into yet another diplomatic photo-op — this time with Donald and Melania Trump and the President and First Lady of China.
Ivanka previously landed herself in hot water when she appeared in a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister and her father. She was then reported to have been closing a business deal in Japan at the time.
Apparently fed up with Ivanka acting in a capacity of “First Lady” to further her own business interests, Twitter decided to speak up.
It didn’t go well for Ivanka.
This was a photo op for the leaders and their wives, right? Why are you in this pic? #Complicit #nepotism

Nothing personal, but please stay out of matters of state and all government affairs. We did not elect you or Jared.

Why are you in another photo op? No business in politics!

As Trump continues to reward his own family members with government jobs – unqualified as they may be – Americans are realizing the dangers of nepotism creeping into our government. Already plagued by inefficiency, waste, and infighting, Trump has all but failed in his promise to hire “the best people.”
What do you think?
