After Trump insisted on a gold carriage ride to Buckingham Palace for his visit to the UK in October, Keith Olbermann had the perfect response:
This makes perfect sense. Gratuitous gold plating and horseshit – these are the things @realDonaldTrump is made of: https://t.co/QENHaLSYf1

“This makes perfect sense. Gratuitous gold plating and horseshit – these are the things @realDonaldTrump is made of.”
Trump is known for his egregiously unsubtle display of extravagance. His first move upon entering the White House was to add as much gold as possible.
As for the “horseshit” aspect of Olbermann’s claim, suffice it to say only that PolitiFact recently reviewed all of Trump’s statements and rated 70% of what he said “mostly false, false, or pants on fire.”
As predictable as he is tacky, Trump set himself up perfectly for Olbermann’s brutal commentary.
