Melania And Trump Just Hosted A Rich People Only Easter Egg Roll
Donald Trump can forget his populist image after news broke today about a private, invitation-only Easter Egg Roll held for the rich and powerful at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
Trump has already come under heavy criticism for the lack of planning done for the traditional Easter Egg Roll that has taken place at the White House every Easter Monday since 1878. Planning for the event is usually supervised by the First Lady, but since Melania has been largely absent from the White House grounds, the event has been thrown together at the last minute with vendors complaining of missed deadlines.
Perhaps this is all because the President was more concerned about the event at Mar-a-Lago which was off limits to the press and open only to Trump’s invited guests.
Luckily, one person on the scene could observe the preparations for the event from a distance. Here’s what he tweeted:
There was a private Easter Egg Hunt—no press access—at Mar-a-Lago today, a day in advance of the public White House event Monday, per pool.

Rich people wearing their Sunday best and driving luxury vehicles, what a way to celebrate the holiest day in a Christian tradition that teaches that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the poor. They aren’t allowed anywhere near this hypocritical President and his elite cronies.
