Donald Trump, who, only days ago, tweeted that “the election is over!” just tweeted about beating Hillary in the popular vote.
New polls out today are very good considering that much of the media is FAKE and almost always negative. Would still beat Hillary in …..

…popular vote. ABC News/Washington Post Poll (wrong big on election) said almost all stand by their vote on me & 53% said strong leader.

It should be noted, first and foremost, that Hillary Clinton defeated Trump by 2.8 million votes. Trump’s use of the word “still” would imply, erroneously, that he had ever defeated Hillary in the popular vote. He has, however, clung to a baseless claim that three to five million illegal ballots were cast in the election. He has provided no evidence to back up his assertion.
Trump also cited the ABC News/Washington Post Poll where 53% considered Trump a strong leader. He did not, however, cite his 42% approval rating in the same poll, the lowest approval rating for a President in the first 100 days in modern history.
Trump also failed to cite a 37% approval rating in his proposed government spending; 56% of people who said he has accomplish not very much/little/nothing as President; 56% of people who think Trump does not have the kind of judgment it takes to serve effectively as President; 59% of people who believe Trump does not have to kind of personality and temperament it takes to serve effectively as President; or only 38% of people who think Trump is honest and trustworthy.
With poll numbers that dismal, though, it is no surprise that Trump is reverting back to distracting America with unfounded claims about an election that occurred five months ago.
